With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mona Welker of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Benson, Minnesota, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Elsie Hendrickson (Neil Welker) and Lawrence Hendrickson; her granddaughter Jennifer Foss; her son-in-law Mark Foss; her siblings, Dillon Hendrickson, Leroy Hendrickson, Charles Hendrickson, Donna Carlson and Shirley Mittness; her siblings-in-law, Bob Carlson, Robert Christopherson, Earl Cota, Bill Mittness, Joe Mittness, John Chesick, Willam Welker, Delmer Loen, Harry Barduson, Keith Welker, Eileene Hendrickson, Lola Chesick Arlys Barduson, Audrey Loen, Barb Welker and Marie Welker; and her close friend Don Handahl.
She is survived by : her children, Brad Welker (Ada DeJesus) of Columbia Heights, Jeff Welker (Laura Arne) of Spicer, Sonia Knoff (Mark) of Mankato and Susan Sison (Reed) of San Diego, CA; her sisters, Margaret Cota of St. Cloud, Mildred "Millie" Christopherson of Alexandria and Sharon Mittness of Minneapolis; and her sister-in-law Idella Hendrickson of Benson. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Vinje Lutheran Church or Bethesda Grand.
