We bid farewell to Nancy June Kaenel of Willmar, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2026 at the age of 82. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Ellestad and Evelyn Ellestad (Rude); her husbands, Don Bruhn and Les Kaenel; her sisters, Donna and Mary; and her son-in-law Roger Bauch.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Bruhn (Tiffany) of Smithland, KY., Tammie Paulson (Jeff) of Atwater, Twyla Scofield (Dave) of Litchfield and Jason Bruhn (Beth) of Willmar; her stepson Ron Kaenel of Willmar; her stepdaughter-in-law Lisa Kaenel of Willmar; and her brother Michael Ellestad (Mary Ann) of Kearney, NE.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home (700 Becker Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
