He is survived by: his niece Mystery Trips; his wife Susan Schmidgall; his children, Todd Paul Steigerwald and Nichole; his son-in-law Paul Springer; his granddaughters, Maddie Anderson (Kaleb) and Emma Springer (Dylan Giorgio); his great grandchildren, Brooks Paul and Baby Anderson; his siblings, Donald Steigerwald, Ane Rogers (Pearce) and Jean Rasmussen (Steven); and his brothers-in-law, Steven Schmidgall (Debra Wensman) and Jim Schmidgall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and so many special friends.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
