He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Hayunga and Hazel Hayunga (Goldenstein); his wife Kathleen Vande Steeg; his grandsons, Michael Hayunga and Joshua Bonnema; and his brother Dennis Hayunga.
He is survived by : his children, Byron Hayunga (Carol) of Montevideo, Randy Hayunga (Becca) of Willmar, Sheri Bonnema (Vonn) of Chaska and Holli Rook (Robert) of Oostburg, WI; his grandchildren, Michelle Carnes (Jeffrey), Jeffrey Hayunga, Jamie Dodds (Dennis), Amanda Thorson (Jason), Tori Hayunga, Adam De Florin (Amber), Ashley De Florin, Nicholas Bonnema (Jess), Brittany Lane (Alex), Zachary Bonnema (Barbie), Devon Rook (Abby), Micah Rook (Ashley) and Taylor Goll (Bryce); and his siblings, Douglas Hayunga of St. Michael and Pauline Erickson (Dennis) of Clara City. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Memorials are preferred to Moments Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
