He was predeceased by: his parents, Amon Martinson and Ruth Martinson (Jacobson); and his son-in-law Keith Harvell. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Martinson; his children, Renae Harvell of Elk River and Jeffrey Martinson (Heather) of Dayton; his grandchildren, Brandon Harvell, Sarah Harvell, Henry Martinson (Mel), Clara Martinson and Gus Martinson; and his pet Ranger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
