He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hallberg and Florence Hallberg; his siblings, Charles Hallberg and Betty Thompson (Ardell); and his sister-in-law Audrey Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Marvis Hallberg (Knudsen) of Willmar; his sons, Peter Hallberg (Jean) of Lester Prairie, Roger Hallberg (Carolyn) of Willmar and John Hallberg (Steve Ouren) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Amber Hallberg (David Tomporowski), Lona Hendricks (Chris), Jena Strei (Andy), Bryanna Burrows (Ben), Megan Bang (Dakota) and Ryan Hallberg (Erin); his great grandchildren, Theodore, Teiko Tomporowski, Ella, William Hendricks, Amelia, Soren Burrows, Dorothy, Mordecai Bang and Oliver Hallberg; and his siblings-in-law, LaDonna Hallberg-Sook, Carol Knudsen Hendrickson (David), Darlene Knudsen, Terry Thompson, Norman Knudsen (Klidoris), Melvin Knudsen (Barb), Wayne Knudsen (Kay) and Larry Knudsen (Deb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
