With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John F. Wielinski of Willow River, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on June 23, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Wielinski and Catherine Wielinski; his former wife Lois; his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Albert, Richard, Simon, Evelyn, Leona, Irene and Mary Louise.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Langiewicz (Mike), Elizabeth Wielinski, John Wielinski (Becky) and Darla Buechele (Mike); his close friend Joyce Tietz; and his siblings, Lorraine LeMieur, Anna Schomer, Jeanette Childs (Dan), James Wielinski (Carol), Michael Wielinski (Clarice), Catherine Bolme and Sharon Loscheider. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Center (8118 Lake St, Willow River, MN 55795). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (8118 Lake St, Willow River, MN 55795).
