He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Petersen and Myra Petersen (Hammer); and his brother Freddy Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Petersen; and his children, Jodie Hessenius of Willow River, Dustin Petersen of Willow River and Crystal Peterson of Chisago City. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamlin Hansen Kosoloski Funeral Home (609 Folz Blvd, Moose Lake, MN 55767). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (6318 Kirke Alle Ext, Askov, MN 55704).
