He was predeceased by: his brother Gene Engler (Joan); his nephew Bruce Engler; his brothers-in-law, DuWaine Sell (Norma) and Glen Mattison (Twila); William and Johanna Sell.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Engler of Windom; his children, Dale Engler (Dana) of Palmdale, CA and Darla Jurgens (Greg) of Windom; his grandchildren, Jon, Joe, Jamie, Matthew and Ryan; and his brother-in-law Arlo Sell (Pat) of Windom. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church (2280 6th Ave, Windom, MN 56101). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church of Windom (906 Prospect Ave, Windom, MN 56101).
