He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Arthur Swanson Sr. and Elsie Brumm; and his siblings, Inez Rossow (Melvin), Ida Burmeister (Arnold) and Jim Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Millicent Swanson; his children, Brenda Fischer, Dawn Johnson (Darren), Corey Swanson (Danyelle) and Chad Swanson (Dee); his grandchildren, Colin Fischer (Hannah), Kaitlin Fischer (Cody), Jackson Fischer (Marlee), Ashley Nagel (Eric), Andrea Nelson (Dave), Carissa Chambers (Wade), Jayden Montz, Logan Swanson, Seth Swanson and Luke Swanson; his great grandchildren, Brielle, Reagen, Greysen, Caeden, Sheridan, Everett, Jonathan, Blakely and August; his siblings, Alice Carrigan, Jeanette Garceau (Dick), Edna Anderson (Kurt) and Alvin Swanson (Rosemary); and his sister-in-law Marlys Swanson.
