He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hanson and Blanche Hanson; and his close friends, Keith, Margaret Jacobson and Cathy Ashfeldt.
He is survived by: his sons, Darren of Cottage Grove, MN and Eric of Indianapolis, IN; the mother of his children Kathy Pohlman (Bob); his siblings, Pamela Hanson of Windom, MN and Tracy Hanson of St. Cloud, MN.; and his friends, Todd Fussy, Dan Antrim, Bill Fischer, Norm Ashfeldt, Kevin Young, Gary Kalash, Jeff Butson and Judy Breyfogle.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Camp Ripley Memorial Chapel (15000 MN-115, Little Falls, MN 56345). A burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Camp Ripley Cemetery (15550 MN-115, Little Falls, MN 56345). A reception will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at 15401 MN-115, Little Falls, MN 56345.
