He is survived by: his children, Ray Charles Elston (Pat) of Windom, Mark Robert Elston (Elaine) of Minneapolis, Linda Jane Elston of Minneapolis, Gary Dean Elston (Mojgan) of Glendale, John Clayton Elston (Joanne) of Grand Saline, TX and Daryl Lee Elston (Lynne) of Windom; and his grandchildren, Daniel Elston-Jones, Adam Elston-Jones, Meredith Pool (Jamieson), Chad Elston (Emily), Jeff Elston (Lindsay), Ryan Elston (Jenni), Ben Elston (Gayle), Sarah Weiner (Sam), Megan Elston, Jesse Elston (Shabnam), Jenne Khorvash (Nayson), Nathan Kolander (Courtney), Padaric Kolander, Oliver Elston (Ashley), Mary Boen (Tim), Kimberly Dynes (Zach), Lindsay Elston (Colin), Amy Elston and Emily Elston. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends.
