He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kalash and Marjorie Kalash (Haberman); his siblings, Jim Kalash and Jeanette Kalash; his parents-in-law, Reinhardt and Emma Ladehoff; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Kalash of Windom; his daughters, Kelly Kalash of Shakopee and Cindy Espenson (Jason) of Windom; his grandsons, Alex and Elliot Espenson; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Ladehoff (Nan) and Jon Johnson (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
