He is survived by: his children, Karen, Kenneth, James, Michael and Scott; his family, Karen Wilking (Darrell) of Tabor, SD, Kenneth Schaffer of Windom, James Schaffer of Cottage Grove, WI, Michael Schaffer of Sheldon, IA and Scott Schaffer (Pam Briggs) of St. Louis Park; his grandchildren, Shenandoah Massman (Tom), Shelby Wilking, Chelsie Wilking, Hailee Schaffer, Cole Schaffer, Jacob Schaffer and Benjamin Schaffer; his great grandchildren, Edward, Alexandra, Harley and Ryann; and his brothers, Les and Jack Schaffer.
