We bid farewell to Edward Yonker of Windom, Minnesota, born in Jackson, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 26, 2024 at the age of 92. Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mike Yonker and Mable Yonker (Lee); his wife Janice "Jan" Yonker (Nestegard); his daughter Margret; his brothers, LeRoy Yonker and Myron Anderson; his parents-in-law, Roy and Verna Nestegard; and his brother-in-law David Nestegard.

He is survived by : his former life partner Janice Nestegard; his children, Maureen Herbst (Eric) of Sweeny, TX, Ed Yonker (Nikki) of Bingham Lake, MN and Marcia Dewald (Steve) of Columbus, NE; his grandchildren, Taylor Schmidt (Rachel), Kaylee Godwin (Beau), Evan Dewald (Liz), Austin Yonker and Braden Yonker; his great grandchildren, Avery, Wajer, Colt and Tripp; and his brother-in-law Doug Nestegard (Dee).

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church (906 Prospect Ave, Windom, MN 56101). Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church-Windom (906 Prospect Ave, Windom, MN 56101).
