In loving memory of James Hinkeldey (Windom, Minnesota), who departed this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 60. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Junior Cole; his grandparents, Walter, Elsie Preuss, John and Anita Hinkeldey; and his niece Alissa Ann Hinkeldey.
He is survived by: his parents, Willis Hinkeldey and Sharon Hinkeldey (Preuss) of Windom; his wife Angela Hinkeldey (Meyer) of Windom; his sons, Marcus, Ryan and Nathan Hinkeldey (Julia Schmoker) of Windom; his siblings, Vicki Thiner (Jeff) of Lakefield, Timothy Hinkeldey (Julianne) of Windom, Jeffrey Hinkeldey (Sheryl) of Windom, Jonathan Hinkeldey (Patty) of Heron Lake and Sarah Thompson (Todd) of Windom; and his mother-in-law Pat Cole of Jackson. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (87977 MN-86, Lakefield, MN 56150). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
