He is survived by: his wife Ruth Smith of Windom; his children, Dennis Smith (Renae) of Watertown, SD, Dean Smith (Hope Day) of Watertown and Diana Windschitl (Todd) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Jena), Jeremy Smith, Cody Smith, Courtney Haglund (Kyle), Kaylie Windschitl and Alex Windschitl; his stepgrandsons, Josh and Alex Nelson; his great grandchildren, Leeland, Chance, Kendall, Bridgette, Breckyn, Everytte and Laina; his brother Donald Smith (Linda) of Braham; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Rindfliesch of Minneapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
