He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wagner and Rosalia Wagner (Dorpinghaus); his brother Roger Wagner; and his brother-in-law Leroy Heideman. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy R. Wagner of Windom; his children, Randall Wagner (Theresa) of Maple Lake, Victoria Borsgard (Richard) of Windom and Wendalyn Wagner (John Schwartz) of Cold Spring; his grandchildren, Alexander Borsgard, Josephine Wagner, Isaac Wagner, Cameron Wagner, Karissa Grove (Bryce), Morgan Wunschel (Cole) and Drake Borsgard (Meredith); and his siblings, Dorothy M. Wagner of Estherville, IA, Jerome Wagner (Carol) of Windom, Lawrence Wagner (Shirley) of Heron Lake, Monica Heideman of Spirit Lake, IA and Vernon Wagner (Linda) of Eagan. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (532 17th St, Windom, MN 56101). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
