She is survived by: her husband Bennie Byam of Windom; her children, Karissa Grove (Bryce) of Windom and Morgan Wunschel (Cole) of Spirit Lake; her grandchild Crew; her son Drake Borsgard (Meredith) of Windom; her grandchildren, Madelyn, Luke and Winnie; her siblings, Michelle "Shelly" Groenke (Doug) of Buckeye, Arizona, Michael "Dodge" Haugen (Kera) of Windom and Melissa "Missy" Christopher (Brent) of Jackson; her parents-in-law, Pete Byam (Barb) of Mesa, Arizona, Georgia Arndt (Lars) of Brewster and Eileen Kohlhof of Springfield; and her brother-in-law Paul Byam (Christine) of Madeira Beach, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (2280 6th Ave, Windom, MN 56101). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the American Lutheran Church (906 Prospect Ave, Windom, MN 56101). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery.
