He was predeceased by : his parents, Orvin Elness and Selma Elness (Hill); his brothers, Ralph Elness (Barbara) and Kenneth Elness; his brothers-in-law, Delmar Johnson and David Flynn; and his parents-in-law, Henry and Blanche Harries.
He is survived by : his wife Doris L. Harries; his children, Sheryl Young (Scott) of Savage, Robert Elness (Michelle) of Fargo, ND, Kent Elness (Tera) of Windom and Brigitte Junker (Randy) of Mountain Lake; his grandchildren, Taylor Young (Katie Koren), Nathan Riel-Elness (Dominic), Kelsey Elness (Jason Beilke), Katie Green (Tom), Thomas Elness (Haley), Abby Minion (Wyatt), Jack Henry Elness, Natalie Karschnik (Jared) and Jacob Junker (Mia Peterson); his great grandchildren, Hadley, Knoxx, Arlo, Zayden and Tatum; his sister Arlene Flynn of Worthington; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Elness of Windom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good golfing friends.
