He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Peterson and Esther Peterson (Voss); his daughter Shauna; and his siblings, Phyllis, Dolores and Leonard.

He is survived by : his wife Lucy; his children, Paulette Anderson (Trevor) of Jackson and Stephen Jensen of River Fall, WI; and his grandsons, Jacob Peterson and Shaun Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
