He is survived by: his friend Matt Richardson; his son Joshua Higley of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Janis (Sis), Jim O'Neil of Faribault, Alan (Peggy Jurgens) and Dean Jurgens (Diane Hohbach); and his sister-in-law Judi Jurgens.
