He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kaupang and Lorraine Kaupang (Scott). He is survived by: his children, Bill Kaupang (Edna), Scott Kaupang, Amy Sherman (Colin Bowen) and Brianna Kaupang (Chris Foldoe); his grandchildren, Kyle (Sam), Amber (Derek), Nick, Ryan, Cole, Jaxon, Bailey, Shelby, Ryleigh, Isabella, Braydyn, Rowan, Hudson, Skylar, Hunter, Tracer and Parker; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Adelyn and Cam; his brother Harold Kaupang (LaRae); and his sibling's children, Ross and Michelle.
The military honors was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Cemetery.
