He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Omang and Gertrude Omang (Folstrom); his in-laws, Oswald and Bernice; his daughter-in-law Melanee Omang; and his siblings, Lynda Omang, Eunice Henderson and Don Omang.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Erlandson of Winger; his children, Hailey Dahl (Bryan) of Winger, Brandon Omang of Erskine, MN, Daniel Omang (Liz) of Ada, MN, Trevor Omang (Nikki Wukawitz) of Winger and Nicholas Omang of Glenwood, MN; his grandchildren, Julius, Gracie, Noah, Jonas, Josslyn, Claire, Bronx and Stella; his sisters, Gloria Steinbrenner (LeRoy) of Fosston, MN and Luann Dufault of Fosston, MN; his sister-in-law Kellie Omang of Grand Forks, ND; and his aunts, Mabel Helgeson (Walter) of Bejou, MN and Valeria Pavlish (Richard) of Bejou. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
