He was predeceased by: his father William Whitney; his stepmother Eleanor Whitney (Wallace); his in-laws, Henry and Alice Winter; his brothers, Walter, Wayne, Bill Jr. and Jim; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn, Helen, Betty, Caroline and Gary Winter.
He is survived by: his wife Diane (Winter); his children, LuAnn, Kent, Jean Millmann (Brian) and Amy Mauris (Rick); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Bridget Whitney, Taylor Millmann (Brenda), Jamie Jones, Mariah and Mason Mauris. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
