He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Volkmann and Florence Volkmann (Nahrgang); his daughter Tanya Volkmann; and his parents-in-law, Arnold and D. Elida Petersen (Bratland).
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Volkmann; his daughter Tricia Berg (John); his grandchildren, Madison (Martin), Annika and Charlie; his son Chad Volkmann (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Jackson, Cooper and Brooks; and his brother James Volkmann (Arline). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
