She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Reuter, and Alvina Reuter, Sr. (Justin); her former husband Joseph S. Benusa; her husband Joe; her son David; her great grandchildren, Emma and Anna Fernholz; and her siblings, Marion Yoakam, Patricia Killian, Adam, Cletus and Robert Reuter.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph G. Benusa (Margaret) of Sun Prairie, WI, Cynthia Bork (Leon) of Waumandee, WI, Thomas Benusa of Le Center, MN and Gerald Benusa (Ilana) of River Falls, WI; her grandchildren, Jennifer Fernholz (Russ), Brian Bork, Brianna Ladron (Guy), Kristin Benusa and Michael Benusa (Amber); her great grandchildren, Claire, Elizabeth and Evelyn Fernholz; and her grandchildren, Charlee and Rolland Benusa. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to help the disabled veterans through the American Legion's Operation Comfort Warriors.
