With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy A. Valenches of Winona, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Grissom (Westlake) and Robert Grissom; her husband Carl Valenches; her aunt Pat; her uncle Charlie Westlake; and her stepfather Len Laich.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Valenches of Lakewood, OH and Patty Omoth (Darren); her granddaughter Nicole Omoth of Winona; and her siblings, Susan Hubbard, Paul Grissom (Ann), Steven Dempsey (Erica), William Dempsey, Barbara Dempsey, Ellen Dempsey (Angela) and Russell Dempsey (Karen). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
