She was predeceased by: her parents, John Banicki and Elizabeth Banicki; her son Steven; her husband John Clinton Waters; her grandson Christopher; and her siblings, Raymond, Walter "Bud", Norman, Frank, Marcella, Antonette "Dolly" and Josephine "Lover".
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Knight of Burnsville, MN, Kevin (Mary) of Shoreview, MN, Robert (Erin) of North Branch, MN, Michael (Dawn) of Wagner, SD, Jason (Holly) of Winona, MN and Joanne (Rush City); her grandchildren, Shelby Waters, Cody Waters (Taylor), Elissa Pourzandvakil (Mo), Trenton Waters (Kaela), Tom Waters (Steph), John Waters (Caitlin), Michael, Charlie Waters, Ryan, Grace Waters, Xavier and Dmitri Waters; and her sisters, Dorothy Banicki and Thersea Dyer. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka (625 E 4th St, Winona, MN 55987). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home (376 E Sarnia St, Winona, MN 55987).
