He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hines and Eileen Hines; and his in-laws, Marie, Emil Schmidt and Rich Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hines (Schmidt); and his grandsons, Jeff Hines (Angela), Michael, Joe Hines (Jolaine), Merrick, Royce, Jon Hines (Justine) and Russell. He is also survived by his wife, three sons, their wives.
