With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Paul Babler (Winona, Minnesota), who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James Paul may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurene Babler and Richard Babler; and his brother Rick Babler. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Schneider Babler; his daughters, Allison Mullin (Joseph), Jenna Babler and Rachel Keenan (Garrett); his grandson Otis James Mullin; and his brother David Babler (Christine). He is also survived by his 29 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cape Fear Hospice, Duke Cancer Center and Novant Health Zimmer Cancer Institute.
