He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smokey and Agnes Smokey (Podjaski); his son Allyn Smokey; and his brother Tom Smokey. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Riley (McGloin); his son David Smokey (Mary) of Madison, WI; his stepchildren, Jay Riley (Steven), Winona, William Riley (Chris Coulson) of Rochester, MN and Gillian Ritscher (Tim Munyon) of Tony, WI; his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Riley, Keaton Riley, Raelin Smokey, Aaryn Smokey, Jordan Smokey, Kylie Smokey, Caleb Ritscher and Ashton Smokey; his daughter-in-law Debbie Smokey-Huebner; and his sister-in-law Donna Smokey. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
