He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zimmerman and Gertrude Zimmerman (Renk); his children, Duane, Elaine and Melvin; and his sister Marian Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his children, Kathy Infield (Bob), Gene Zimmerman (Catherine), Theresa Sanow (Dave), Diane Turner, Don Zimmerman (Heather) and Lynette Stevens (Dale Roland); and his brother Mark Zimmerman (Grace). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winona.
