It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerome S. Wineski of Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wineski and Romelle Wineski (Scharmach); his wife Mary E. Jenko; and his sisters, Jeanette Speltz and Doris Wineski.
He is survived by: his children, AJ Wineski (Jodie), John Wineski (Tracy Heaser) and Terri Dailey (Dave); his grandchildren, Tayler Jo Wineski, Drew Wineski (Chelsea), Ally Kosidowski and Danielle Kosidowski; his great grandchildren, Magnolia, Clover, Izzy and Charlotte; his brother Jim Wineski (Maisie); and his brothers-in-law, Art Speltz and Jerome Jenko (Sarah). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home (376 E Sarnia St, Winona, MN 55987). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka (625 E 4th St, Winona, MN 55987).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorials be directed to the Elks National Foundation, or to Sobieski Park in Winona.
