She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Fischer and Dorothy Fischer (Herrick); and her husband Wayne E. Hamernik. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Hamernik (Tim Walters), Michael Hamernik (Nancy) and Patricia Hamernik; her grandchildren, Michael Padgett (Nicole) and Connie Gollnick (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Evan, Gabby and Zoie Padgett; and her grandchildren, Mavryk and Charlotte Gollnick. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Winona Health Hospice in honor of the excellent care they gave to Joan.
