Joan B. Roessler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan B. Roessler of Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Rutschow and Evelyn Rutschow (Hansow); her in-laws, John and Vernie Roessler; and her grandson Chad Roessler.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Michael Roessler (Beth) and Pamela Roessler (Dan McCarty); her grandchildren, Dustin Roessler (Mandie Breamer) and Alayna McCarty; her granddaughter-in-law Taylor Roessler; and her brother Emmett Rutschow. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home (376 E Sarnia St, Winona, MN 55987). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1717 W Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987).
