With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leander Mendyk (Winona, Minnesota), who passed away on August 20, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Sara Anne Hervey. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Stephanie Mendyk-Bliss, Michele Mendyk-Bliss, Stephen Mendyk-Bliss, Michael Mendyk-Bliss and Joni Mendyk-Bliss (Joseph Bliss); his cousins, Richard Mendyk of Liberty, MO., Janet Mendyk (Eurek) of Liberty, MO. and Larry Mendyk (Kathy) of Liberty, MO.; his grandchildren, Joshua Hervey of Minnetonka, MN, Bennett, Katherine and Caroline; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Bliss of Red Wing, MN, Joseph Bliss Jr (Jaryn) of Oklahoma City, OK., Emma, Paulbeck, Claire, Abby and Sophia; Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the American Heart Association or Alzheimers research.
