She was predeceased by : her husband Richard Hopkins (Dick); and her parents, Cassie Opel (Bielawski) and Oscar Opel. She is survived by : her children, Barry Hopkins (Lisa) of Manitowish Waters and Jenny Hopkins of Winona, Minnesota..
In addition, she was a member of the Friendship Center Activity Council, donating her time and effort to help with early accreditation studies.
