Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Merle Blong of Winona, Minnesota, born in Saint Lucas, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 86, on November 11, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke John Blong and Agnes Ann Ditzenbach; his brother Clyde Blong (Rose Marie Panoch); his grandson Ian Burke; and his great grandchild Quinn Burke.
He is survived by: his brothers, Clair, Glenn and Cuba; his children, Debra Burke of Winona, Darcy O'Laughlin (Kim) of Minnesota City, Dana Blong (Vickie) of Winona and Darla Heimer of Winona; his grandchildren, Logan Burke, Kristin Rodgers, Kyle O'Laughlin, Corey O'Laughlin, Natasha Blong, Tanner Blong, Dustin Heimer and Dylan Blong; and his sister Phyllis Orthaus (Richard) of New Hampton.
Those attending will be required to wear a mask and to follow social distancing guidelines.
