Richard left this world on October 18, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred E. Burmeister and Leona I. Burmeister; and his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Arleen M. Werre of Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church; and his sons, Paul, Andrew, Joel, Nathan and Aaron. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
