He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall "Peter" Torrey and Elizabeth "Betty" Torrey. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Julian, Austin and Adrian; his daughters, Krista Torrey of Corpus Christi, TX and Jana Buckham (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO; his brother James Torrey of Red Wing, MN.; and his cousin David Beck.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern MN.
