He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stanton and Elona Stanton; his sister Tammy Irvine; his uncle Tom Stanton; his nephew Alex LaPoint; and his father-in-law Gary LaPoint.
He is survived by: his wife Nikki Stanton; his sister Robin Stanton; his aunts, Corrine Stanton, Mavis Millie (Laurel) and Janice Baker (Gene); his uncle Doug Goede (Janice); his cousin Pat Stanton; his mother-in-law Kathy LaPoint; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Irvine, Greg LaPoint and Angie Iverson.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Witoka Tavern and Reception Hall (27999 County Rd 9, Winona, MN 55987).
