He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phyllis Buege (Burns) and Emil Buege; his siblings, Marilyn, Robert Buege, Gerald and Joanne Kulas; his close friend Carol Buege (Mueller); his daughters, Robyn Shoemaker (Eric) and Rhonda Buege; his grandchildren, Olivia and Connor Flatten; his wife Carol; and his great grandchild Weston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church (766 W Wabasha St, Winona, MN 55987). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion Club (302 E Sarnia St, Winona, MN 55987).
