He was predeceased by: his parents, Custer and Myrtle (Peterson); his wife Barb Foster; his daughter Renee; his siblings, Hjalmer (Bud), Violet Noeske, Laura Engel, Dorothy Christie, Lorraine Gilbertson, Muriel Block, JoAnn Jorde, Lois Erickson and Anna Hauser; and his sister-in-law Joan Madland.
He is survived by: his daughters, DeeDee Seurer (Jim) of Watertown, SD, Dawn (Mike Pifer) of Dallas, TX, Kari (Bob Santoro) of Cherry Hill, NJ and Wendy Markham (Matt) of Lino Lakes, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Block, Danny Hauser, Wally Madland and Marion Drussell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great‑grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winona Elks Lodge #327 (4540 Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987).
