He is survived by: his wife Kim; his son Jonathan Szymanski (Jason Szymanski); his grandchildren, Adrian and Aaron; his son Alexander Strege (Travis Nelson); and his sisters, Janet Stiglich (Tony) and Joyce Gohr (Jeff). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
