She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew H. Fasching and Marie T. Fasching (Scheiber); her parents-in-law, Leona and Bernard "Bernie" Zachmann; and her sister Janet Sherman.
She is survived by: her husband Ron; and her children, Michelle "Shelly" Lorentz of Champlin, Daniel Zachmann of Howard Lake, Michael Zachmann (Sue) of Howard Lake, Steven "Steve" Zachmann (Rose) of Howard Lake and Anita "Nita" Zachmann (Mark) of Winsted. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to The Attic in Winsted, in honor of Betty. Betty devoted many years as a volunteer there, and donations made in her memory would be a meaningful tribute to her life of service.
