She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Smykalski and Cecilia Smykalski (Podlaski); her husband Leonard; her daughter Laurie Poetz; and her siblings, Raymond, Richard, Leonard, Shirley Sterner, Leroy and Mercedes Smykalski.

She is survived by : her grandson Dustin A. Diers; her son-in-law Greg Poetz (Danielle Shank); her children, Ali, Lili, Lani and Grayson; her sister Florence Hennessey; and her sister-in-law Linda Smykalski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
