It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kruggel of Winthrop, Minnesota, born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on February 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman C. Kruggel and Leona Kruggel (Gerland); his wife Carol Kruggel; and his sisters, Elaine Springer and Jean Kruggel.

He is survived by: his children, Joe Kruggel (Barb) of Victoria, MN, Jacki Kruggel of Winthrop, MN, Brad Kruggel (Erika) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kim Schauer (Jeff) of Winthrop, MN, Jamie Kruggel (Mark Kehn) of New Ulm, MN and Shawn Kruggel (Rosie) of Winthrop, MN; his grandchildren, Nick Kruggel (Ashley Schlosser), Gina Greenwald (Nick), Myranda Bauer, Carson, Morgan, Kevan Kruggel, Holly Peterson (Shawn) and Troy Schauer (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Brody, Brecklyn Kruggel, Ruby, Amelia Greenwald, Madison, Owen and Noah Peterson; his siblings, Kathy Volkmann (LeRoy Lang) of Winthrop, MN and Dennis Kruggel (Murti) of Shakopee, MN; and his brother-in-law John Springer of Winthrop, MN. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
