Robert E. Bengson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Bengson of Winthrop, Minnesota, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Bengson and Virginia Bengson; his sister Lynda Torgerson; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Torgerson and Mark Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Tracey Jean Jelinek; his children, Renae Schlechter (Joseph), Robin Hoffmann (Timothy), Robert Bengson (Michelle) and Bradley Bengson (Jackie); his grandchildren, Cullen Hoffmann (Mackenzie), Sydni Salzl (John), Benjamin Carstens, Noah Schlechter, Samuel Hoffmann, Sophie Schlechter, Eli Bengson and Emily Bengson; his stepgrandchildren, Nick and Trinity; his great grandchildren, Teddy and Grace Salzl; and his sister-in-law Ginger Hoffman. He is also survived by nieces and nephew as well as many beloved family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bob and Tracey's House. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
