He was predeceased by: his parents, Albin Nord and Anna Nord (Loff); his son Carl Nord; his granddaughter Raven Nord; his great grandchild Ayven Peeters; his sisters, Sharon Blillie (Loren) and Leone Nelson (Don); and his sister-in-law Diane Wagamon.
He is survived by: his wife Bev Nord of Moorhead, MN; his children, Jay Nord (Cindy) of Wolverton, MN, Kristi Janssen (Kurt) of Moorhead, MN and Lisa Miller (Mark) of Kent, MN; his daughter-in-law Lori Nord of Wolverton; his grandchildren, Ashley Malikowski (Clint), Nicole Peeters (C. J.), Erica Halverson (Brent), Jamie Teahan, Harlie Nord (Marco Ras), Taylor Hoots (Michael), Jayda Hendrickson (Noah), Devin Miller and Riley Miller; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Raegan Malikowski, Everett, Hudson, Audey Peeters, Blake, Breleigh, Briggs Halverson, Fiona, Fitzgerald Teahan, Bridger, Stella Hoots and Shay Hendrickson; and his brother-in-law Perry Wagamon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
His faith was a guiding force, reflected in his numerous contributions to his church, including serving as church president, participating in the building committee, and dedicating countless hours to church projects.
